Description
On
a long sand bar jutting out into the sea, the Sun
Spa Resort is located on the southern bank of the
Nhat Le River. The resort, in My Canh village in Bao
Ninh commune in the city of Dong Hoi (Quang Binh
province), now has 10 buildings featuring a
distinctly Asian architectural style.
More than 300 employees working for the Sun Spa
Resort come from Quang Binh. The company sent all
these workers to the Hue Tourism School for
training, where the company financed their living
and studying expenses. The resort's experienced
staff includes an international general manager and
Vietnamese managerial
staff, many of whom have experience of working for
international-standard resorts and hotels, including
FURAMA, CARAVElle, and VinPearl.
Sun Spa Resort is only one of the eight functional
areas of the My Canh Eco Tourist Site in Bao Ninh in
Dong Hoi (Quang Binh province). The VND225 billion
tourist site, including 500 three to five-star
rooms, will be completed by the end of 2006.
The Nhat Le River area, which witnessed bloody
battles during wartimes, is now calm and enjoys a
