The art of traditonal cusine
Vietnamese food is about to become the
hottest cuisine to emerge from Asia
and Sofitel Metropole is the only 5* hotel
in Hanoi where you can learn the Vietnamese
cookery art. Start from the way to
choose fresh ingredients at the market, to a
practical cooking demonstration in the
kitchen followed by the tasting the results
at lunchtime in the hotel's restaurant. The
class is held every morning from Tuesday to
Saturday from 10:00am onwards. If you want
to sample real gastronomy course throughout
the country - North - Central - South of
Vietnam and combine with some tour to
visit the country please let us know we

Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Hanoi
Meet and greet upon arrival to Hanoi airport
for the transfer to Hotel Sofitel Metropol.
At leisure, evening water puppet show at
Thang Long puppet theatre (you m ay
want to take a walk there as the theatre is
close by and it is
within walking
distance).
Day 2: Hanoi (B,L)
Morning we get on cyclo tour (richshaw) cruising
around the old town of Hanoi and to market
for ingredients of your cooking course then
your cooking is started at the hotel at
10:am. The cooking is three hours. Afternoon
seeing the attraction places of Hanoi.
Overnight at Sofitel Metropol
Day 3: Around Hanoi(B,L)
Morning the cooking course is the same the
last day. Afternoon we drive to suburb of
Hanoi to see Bat Trang ceramic village- the
number one ceramics in Vietnam date back six
hundred years. We continue driving to But
Thap pagoda, the pagoda location is in the
middle of rice and vegetable and flower
fields, the great pagoda architecture in
Vietnam.
Overnight at Sofitel Metropol
Day 4: Hanoi - Halong bay(B,L)
Morning drive to Halong bay (3 hour drive
away). Arriving Halong bay
we embark on a lovely boat ride for a
cruising amongst the secluded Halong bay.
Visit cave and limestone ilsand, fishing
village and floating farms. While
cruising we are treated to fresh seafood
luch.
Afternoon return to Hanoi
Overnight at Sofitel Metropol
Day 5: Departure(B)
At leisure.
Transfer to airport for the departure
flight.
