to the Vietnam Cookery Centre in downtown Ho Chi Minh City for a morning
cookery class to learn the secrets of preparing some of Vietnam’s best-loved

variation on the Cu Chi tour travelling by speed boat up the Saigon River with
a stop to visit the bustling market at Thu Dao Mot en route to Cu Chi. Arrive
at Cu Chi mid-morning to visit the incredible underground tunnel network
constructed by Vietnamese resistance fighters during the long struggle for
independence. Leave Cu Chi just before mid-day to return to Ho Chi Minh
stopping on the way to visit Lai Thieu ceramics village. Arrive back in Ho Chi

MEKONG DELTA : MY THO & BEN TRE (01 DAY)
We set off this morning
for a drive through the Mekong Delta to Cai Be floating market. Here
we will board our private boat for a cruise along the maze of waterways and
canals to BinhHoa Phuoc Island. The islands are totally given to
agriculture, especially the growing of tropical fruits, which are shipped to
markets in Ho Chi Minh City. Visit Binh Hoa Phuoc Island where one of the
fascinating things to be seen are the “monkey bridges”. These are makeshift
footbridges built of uneven logs about 30 to 80 cm wide and from 2m to 10m
above the canals. For lunch sample the local delicacy, the "Elephant's Ear
Fish" on Binh Hoa Phuoc Island before continuing our exploration of the
tributaries and canals of the delta. Following these visits we will once
again board our vehicle for the drive to Ho Chi Minh City.

Vungtau
Day trip
Vung Tau known as Cap Saint-Jacques
under French occupation. It is just 125 km South-East of Ho Chi
Minh.
Once this seaside resort was a popular beach
destination for French and US service man. Vungtau is one of
the most popular sea-side resorts of Vietnam with golden sandy
beaches, transparent warm blue water all the year round. Vung
Tau offers a good relaxation trip on prime beach caressed by
the cool breeze from transperent warm blue water.
